bio.
my name is mars robinson.
Born in Cincinnati, I started my journey in publishing as a non-traditional student at University of Cincinnati. A full-time student and full-time dice dealer, I found purpose and a new depth in my lifelong connection to the written word relatively late in life. My publishing experiences includes both production and editorial roles. As both an employee and freelancer, I look for opportunities to push my limits and embrace new skills. I thrive when facing the challenge of demands and deadlines.

As a writer, I endeavor to explore where identity and belonging intersect. I strive to create culturally rooted narratives and poetry that provides a thorough examination of the spectrum of human emotion and experience. My ultimate hope is to depict the intricacies of life as we know it with vivid detail. Experiencing art that does so allows us to mitigate its flaws and celebrate its strengths.
